Yesterday there was a weird gas/particulate matter that was hovering over Goleta, in the Kellogg school area. I believe it was in more than just that area, but that was where I had to take my son to school. I spoke to a teacher there just a few minutes ago. And she said that they kept the class doors closed to keep the bad air out, and postponed exercise until later in the day when the air cleared. But she didn’t know what had caused the bad air, or what was in it.
I’m wondering what the actual cause was. Worried about what my son was breathing in yesterday and hope someone can explain it.
Someone said that the dried mud was being moved around on 101 in between Fairview and Patterson, and perhaps it was the dust from that. But I don’t know for sure.
