Christopher William McBrier sadly and unexpectedly passed away on September 15, 2022 in Santa Barbara, California.
Christopher was born Jan 1, 1958 in La Jolla California where he was raised and resided with his parents, William and Carla Dale and 5 siblings, Laurie, Rusty, Annie, Leslie and Billy.
Christopher is survived by his sisters, Laurie Lee Mc Brier and Leslie Dale Dunn and his brother William Jarecki Dale.
Referred to many in his family as “Uncle Chris or Uncle Keehee” he will be greatly missed by his 21 nieces and nephews.
After a short stint as a news camera man, Christopher’s passion in film led him to a career in Hollywood, where he started his own production company and filmed many major motion pictures. After retiring from “La La Land” Christopher spent several years in Port Orchard, Washington where he was close to family and his church community. Chris eventually settled back in his home state in Santa Barbara. His sense of humor, gifted storytelling and concern for others will be be missed by all who knew him.
