Update by California Highway Patrol
Due to the large amount of fire personnel and equipment using SR-154, in responding to various assignments, SR-154 will be closed to all traffic from 5:00 AM to 9:00 AM for the foreseeable future.
We would ask that all travelers who normally use SR-154 at the times of the closure to utilize U.S. 101 to travel between North to South County.
Between those times when SR-154 is open, we would still ask those travelers to completely avoid SR-154 and utilize U.S. 101 as significant delays could occur.
Residents who live and work within the boundaries of this closure will maintain access to State Route 154 with proper identification.
