Santa Barbara County Firefighters responded to a travel trailer fire west of Orcutt early Wednesday morning.
At 2:46 a.m., crews arrived in the 5500 block of Ticino Street in Casmalia after receiving reports from neighbors regarding a fire.
Witnesses stated there was black smoke and popping sounds coming from a trailer at the rear of a residential property.
Crews located the 20-foot trailer consumed by fire and were able to knock it down by 3:10 a.m.
One cat was reported to have died in the fire. There were no other injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
How horrible! These little beings depend on us for love and life. Sad, so very very sad. Poor baby, R.I.P.
