Carpinteria Middle School campus lockdown *cleared*.
At 9:21 deputies responded for a trespasser at CMS – suspect fled prior to deputies arrival and school admin placed campus on brief lockdown. Deputies tracked the suspect to a location off campus – no further threat on campus.
