A vehicle collision sparked a vegetation fire in Santa Maria on Saturday afternoon.

3:30 p.m. vegetation is ignited due to vehicle accident on the 6600 Block of Palmer Road

3:51 p.m. “Brush fire is out…” unsure if it’s completely out

4:00 p.m. Req. additional water truck to “… come up the road.”
