Caltrans has provided updates on two major Highway 101 projects in Summerland and Gaviota.
On Friday, Caltrans announced northbound lanes had opened in Summerland, as well as the northbound onramp at Evans.
This is part of the HOV expansion project between Carpinteria and Santa Barbara, and is funded through SB1.

The January rainstorms caused flooding and rocksliding throughout the county, but in Gaviota the rockslides closed down Highway 101 northbound for several days before the tunnel
Caltrans was able to open one lane pretty quickly but the right lane remains closed since last month.
Crews are in the process of blasting rock and setting up new rock netting that gave way during the storms.
The right lane is expected to reopen sometime this week as the work wraps up, Caltrans reports.
Storm recovery efforts continue across District 5. The right lane remains closed along northbound #Hwy101 near the #Gaviota tunnel while crews blast rock & set up new rock netting. The right lane is expected to reopen sometime next week when the work wraps up. pic.twitter.com/3l0hFifx97
