Brush Fire Response Near Las Positas Offramp

I was exiting the Las Positas offramp around 8:30 a.m. this morning (Tuesday) and noticed a good deal of smoke coming from the train track area. This was right next to the highway and underneath the offramp.

Fire engines were stationed at the Fuel Depot near Modoc Road. Appeared to be a small brush fire by the railroad tracks.

I went through the area again about 20-30 minutes later and it appeared to be mostly resolved with firefighters hiking back up to their truck.

Only one fire engine was there by this time. My passenger snapped a few photos as were exiting the highway on Las Positas.
