Santa Barbara County Firefighters are responding to a three-acre fire off Highway 154.
At 11:05 a.m. Friday, county firefighters and crews from the Los Padres National Forest responded to 4001 Highway 154 near Lake Cachuma for a reported brush fire. Upon arrival the response was upgraded to include a helicopter, hand crews, and water tenders.
Crews are currently on the scene putting in a hose line supported by a helicopter and ground crews. The fire has not yet been declared fully contained by the county fire department.
The cause is under investigation and there are no structures threatened at this time. There are traffic restrictions in the area.
