Brush Fire Contained Near Lompoc

A brush fire was contained to just over 2 acres in Lompoc on Monday evening.

After 6:00 p.m., Santa Barbara County fire crews responded to a report of a vegetation fire in a river bed near North A Street and East Central Avenue.

Fire crews were able to have the blaze contained in two hours at 2.2 acres. 

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
