Brush Fire at Red Rock

At 5:05 p.m. Monday, Santa Barbara County firefighters responded to Red Rock Camp in the Los Padres National Forest for a brush fire. 

County crews responded to support Los Padres forest officials and found two to three acres burning. Los Padres Forest firefighters felt confident in holding the fire and cancelled all further response units. 

Hand crews, dozers, and air crafts responded with the forward progress to be halted soon.

Crews will remain on scene to mop up the fire.

  1. Ridiculous. People everywhere trashing the place with one way in/out. This is second day in a row fire was reported along paradise rd. Hopefully this one is minor. Emergency responders are hating the public right now.
