96511: I get it that you meant that sarcastically. Apparently other Edhatters are too literal and your comment is about to vanish.
Mainly it’s the jetsam from the NHawk and Indy commenting cesspools who have migrated here with their ignorance and vitriol.
Too bad your attention span is so short. Tools are designed for a purpose. What is the purpose of handguns again?
You comment is about to vanish because the” Unhappy Hour gang banger TROLLS” Are attempting a take over with their nasty azzed comments…
Just another responsible gun owner.
Just another responsible gun owner.
No, just another THUG who is carrying ILLEGALLY and irresponsibly- FYI, Santa Barbara (“Paradise”, according to the Chamber of Commerce) is full of ‘bangers and thugs carrying weapons…
When you’re confronted by this criminal(s), and the police are several minutes away, you’ll be praying for a responsible gun owner to come to your aide. If one doesn’t you’ll get to see if you’re sensitivities detour societies predators.
Just another Hillary voter.
Gun worshipers live in a fantasy macho world. All scientific studies in the US (before the NRA bought legislation to ban CDC studies of gun violence), and in the rest of the world, show that more guns = more crime and violence.
Consider this finding from a 1998 study published in the Journal of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery: “Every time a gun in the home was used in a self-defense or legally justifiable shooting, there were four unintentional shootings, seven criminal assaults or homicides, and 11 attempted or completed suicides.”
In other words, the fantasy many gun lovers have of facing down an intruder with a firearm is belied by the fact that a gun is 22 times more likely to be used in a criminal assault, an accidental death or injury, a suicide attempt or a homicide than it is for self-defense.
