Body Found Near Stearns Wharf, No Foul Play Suspected

Santa Barbara Police are investigating a body found near Stearns Wharf on Monday.

Around 6:30 a.m., Santa Barbara Harbor Patrol officers found a female body near the dolphin fountain at the intersection of Cabrillo Blvd and State Street.

According to the Police Department, there is no foul play suspected and there are no suspects connected to the case.

The cause of death and identity of the person has yet to be released.

The investigation is ongoing.
