The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a man whose body was discovered in an Orcutt pond on Sunday.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, members of their dive team recovered the body at Waller Park in the 3100 block of Orcutt Road.

On Wednesday the Sheriff’s Office released the identity of the man as 60-year-old Shane Sejera of Arroyo Grande and stated the death does not appear to be suspicious.

The 154-acre park is home to several ponds and wildlife and is managed by the County Parks Department.
