  4. I’ve lived here a long time; the answer is YES. Every year. A lot of it comes up or down 101 from LA or Santa Maria, but we have more “home-grown” criminals, too. Some of it is drugs; some is the something-for-nothing entitlement climate that’s burgeoned since about the 70’s
