Armed robbery behind McKinkey Elementary?

I live in the neighborhood beneath McKinley Elementary. On Tuesday afternoon/early evening my neighbor saw cops near the pedestrian hill leading up to the back of the school. They said at 2 pm there was a robbery at gun point right there. they were investigating and didn’t find the guy. I asked KEYT why this didn’t make the news and why the school didn’t lockdown? They hadn’t heard of it.
I walk my baby around this neighborhood every day and would love some answers!
