  1. Barbed wire in the back bed of a pick up truck with a baby goat that looks to be in bad shape Animal control should have responded the Good old Boy mentality has no business making that judgement call..I know how ranches operate most don’t care about the animal stuff your ignorance..

  2. sbcountylocal, I totally agree. I used to have goats, and they’re great critters. When young, they can be a lot of fun even. And when older, barb wire can be perfect for scratching that itch it can’t quite reach otherwise. How’s a non-goat person supposed to know what type of goat it is or if the goat’s OK? Sounds like the reporting party is just another fool.

  3. Just a reminder that globally, goat meat is as popular and often eaten as beef is in the USA. Not sure if pig or goat is most popular globally (not going to look it up now.) I agree that it was probably on its way to being the main course.
If you eat any meat, you have no right to complain.

  4. Note to Self:
    According to precedence..(?!)
It is legal to sleep in one’s vehicle with a baby goat wired into the bed, rear, trunk or flat-bed..truck..in August.
    Got it.

  5. Check out local animal law codes; I don’t know of one they were breaking. If owner/buyer/ transporter told animal control that the goat was going to be a bbq, I don’t think they’d have any grounds to take any action.
