Air Days

By John Wiley

In the old days, taking the air was about promenading with your sweetie. For us a few days ago, it meant getting Up for a breath of the clear Fall air and a look around to share with you. After the busy time of takeoff, thanks to the Santa Barbara Flying Club we had a moment to take in Santa Barbara’s colorful harbor area. (see above)

Next we enjoyed the magnificent view from coast to mountains beyond Montecito.

Climbing to the North we saw this fire suppression jet standing ready at Santa Maria.

After lunch at Oceano we lifted off back toward home and enjoyed this Fall glimpse of Los Alamos from vineyard to celebrated eateries.

Then in the gathering warmth of a glorious sunset, Cachuma glowed with a promise of replensihment.
