The Isla Vista Juggling Festival is the longest-running juggling festival anywhere in the world. Jugglers from all over the Western US and beyond came to share their knowledge and skills!
People do stunts that you will never see in a circus or other public performance. In particular, juggling large numbers of objects.
Most of the events are free and everyone is welcome! There are two parts:
1)
PUBLIC SHOW – Juggling and Vaudeville

Saturday night – April 22 – 7:30PM-10:00PM
Cost: Adults $17. Seniors, Students & Kids $8.
Note: All proceeds benefit the Santa Barbara Rape Crisis Center!
2)

Friday April 21 6PM-11PM at the UCSB Multi-Activity Court (MAC)
Saturday April 22 10AM-5:00PM at the UCSB Multi-Activity Court (MAC)

The Public Show was shut down during COVID, but it is back!
ALSO: This is a Fund Raiser for the Santa Barbara Rape Crisis Center (now called STESA)!
The Public Show is full of surprises, depending on who shows up to perform. Here are some examples from past years.
Here is an example of what you might see or do at the evening Glow Juggling after the public show:
But much of the fun is just hanging out in the Multi-Activity Court (MAC) and catching extraordinary bits like Alex Limbach juggling seven balls!
Or Rob Crites juggling five clubs!
Best of all, you can learn some of these tricks and pass balls or clubs with others and make some new friends!
So, come on out and try something new! Here http://www.sbjuggle.org/ you can find more information!
