Does the March 3 election determine the winner of the 37th State Assembly seat? Or do the top two candidates go on to November?
For those interested, there will be a debate on February 19 at 6:30pm inside the University Club downtown.
What’s his bias? Everyone has a bias but it seems to me, watching his program, that he works hard to be fair and open to a variety of opinions.
How can someone as openly biased as jerry Roberts moderate anything?
Jerry Robert’s is a blue blooded Dem with obvious biases. His questioning aligns with his thinking. I like that he’s open about who he is. When’s the last time you viewed a JR Newsmaker show segment of interviews with conservatives and moderates on any topic?
Will Socialist anarchist Jonathan Abboud get 50.1%? Das’ paid District 1 Staffer Darcel Elliott is out at UCSB pushing votes for Isla Vista government payrolled Abboud, who is endorsed by SB Chapter of Democratic Socialists of America. Abboud supports open borders, amnesty, Medicare for All, along with Salud. Exciting election. UCSB students are a force! VOTE! SB207 is law: register, RE-register, change your address at the polls for a valid ballot — not a provisional one. Unlimited potential for fraud
A is for Anarchy. A is for Abboud. A is for Abboud inciting the foot-stomping, shout-down SBCC’s Pledge of Allegiance protest to make it national news. A is for Abboud’s arrogance threatening to unleash the IV vote on the rest of us. Abboud is just one more young man in a hurry. We don’t need another one.
JR seems balanced compared to most. How many conservatives/moderates are there in Santa Barbara, and how many have been asked AND accepted to appear on Newsmakers? This is the question! But I think that Randy Rowse counts (he’s basically the only Republican left in SB).
8:09: Welcome to the world outside your own blue bubble. From Santa Barbara County Elections Office – 2016: HILLARY CLINTONDEM107,142 votes-59.90% — DONALD J. TRUMP REP 56,365 votes – 31.51%. There are a few more GOP here besides Randy and myself.
Translation: for every three people in SB county, two might be Democrats and one might be GOP. With our dismal voter turn-out rates, it means GOP candidates can have a fighting chance if they all don’t stay home.
