This game was neck and neck until the very ned, but the final winners of the 2021 March Edness game are being revealed.
Our annual photo hunting game is fun and highly competitive and questions how well you know your local area. Or how well you notice and remember details about your surroundings. Or… how good you are at Google Map street views and internet sleuthing. Either way, after 20 days and numerous hours of searching, our dedicated edhat players are now being honored.
Our first place prize goes to the only player who received a perfect score this year with a 50 point total. Congratulations Penelope805!
Now, for the second and third place honors, the dedicated staff of edhat.com chose to do something a bit differently this year. Normally we adhere to the normal rules of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. If there are any ties we send a smattering of photos to be identified in one day to break the tie. However, the past twelve months have been anything but normal and we feel these competitors should be honored equally.
For the first time ever we will have a three-way tie for 2nd place. Three players each scored 46 points only missing one photo, dreaded Day 17. Congratulations to our 2nd place winners: Camster, Kcottrell, and Mfitch54!

MARCH EDNESS PARTY?
As you could probably assume, the March Edness party has been cancelled again this year. Normally we hold a public gathering in the middle of April to celebrate the winners and to mingle with other edhat readers. Due to social-distancing and general safety, we’ll push off celebrations until it’s safe.
However, the winners will still get prizes! Each winner will be able to choose the local restaurant, winery, or brewery of their choice to receive a gift card courtesy of edhat. We encourage everyone else to support local businesses and purchase gift cards to financially support them during this difficult time.
