A 2.1 magnitude earthquake struck off the Carpinteria coast early Sunday morning, the second quake in two days.
At 8:06 a.m., a few Carpinteria residents felt a little jolt. USGS reports the quake 15 km south of Carpinteria.
Just a day earlier, a 3.1 magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Isla Vista around 11:30 a.m.
