The Santa Barbara County Genealogical Society is pleased to welcome genealogists Rosalyn Tonai and Grant Din to their monthly meeting on Saturday, June 17. Rosalyn and Grant will present "Resources Available for Japanese and Chinese American Genealogists and Teaching Pioneers' Stories to the Next Generation."
The League of Voters of Santa Barbara will celebrate its 85th birthday with a party at noon Saturday, June 17 at Tuckers Grove Park. The community celebration will feature tributes to longtime League members and supporters, as well as a catered lunch.
For only $40, guests will be treated to lunch and Feminist Label wine donated by Casa Dumetz Wines. RSVP at lwvsantabarbara.org. Thanks to a generous donor, a limited number of complimentary tickets are available (email league@lwvsantabarbara.org). The party is located at Picnic Area #2.

Theatre Eclectic & Santa Barbara School for Extended Learning present Kurt Vonnegut Jr's Who Am I This Time?, dramatized by Christopher Sergel. Four FREE evening performances in two different venues - June 20 & 27th (SBCC Wake Auditorium, 300 N. Turnpike, SB) and June 22 & 29 (SBCC Schott Auditorium, 310 W. Pueblo, SB). All shows at 7 pm. No tickets required. A delightful comedy that gently focuses on community theater.
Join us on the longest day of the year as we gather with friends and family and partake in the ultimate and first ever corn-hole tournament at Bacara by the Sea!
This tournament will consist of multiple rounds, each round featuring a set number of games between two players. Each game will be played until the winning team reaches 21 points. The tournament will conclude when we have a winning player or team- who will receive a special prize.
Our Haskell's food truck will be open with American fare options such as burgers, hotdogs, french fries. We will have cocktails, beers, wines, and more drink options for purchase as well. Outside food and beverages will not be permitted.
The tournament is complimentary, however please RSVP in advance so we may accommodate all participants.
