Camp Millionaire is a game and activity-based financial literacy program for kids ages 10-14. Kids and teens learn how to make, manage, multiply and donate their money wisely first hand in this fun-filled, active, weekend. Imagine your kids learning to pay themselves first BEFORE they leave home without you!
Join the Mental Wellness Center and the Santa Barbara community in partnership with PBS, as they host a free virtual event where they will include exclusive preview clips of and conversation about the new PBS documentary series, Mysteries of Mental Illness and host a live panel discussion on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 from 6:00-7:30 PM via zoom.
Graduate student Steven Thomson (Choral Conducting) will present a virtual Master of Music recital on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at 6 pm PDT as a YouTube Premiere via the Department of Music's YouTube channel. The program will include performances by Dr. Naomi Merer (soprano), Marta Hovhannisyan (soprano and alto), Lauren Vanderlinden (alto), Soohyun Ryu (alto), Kartik Sundaram (tenor), and Benjamin Hanson (tenor). Thomson will conduct the program, which features two pieces for choir—K'eler Ts'oler by Komitas Vardapet and Khorumi by Mamia Khatelishvili. Thomson is a student of Dr. Nicole Lamartine, UC Santa Barbara Sorensen Director of Choral Music.

The Santa Barbara Maritime Museum (SBMM) presents the lecture “Hawaiians, Catholics, and the Town with a Bay in Front and an Amphitheater of Hills Behind: The Education of Richard Henry Dana Jr. in Santa Barbara,” given by Professor Rick Kennedy of Point Loma Nazarene University. This informative lecture will give listeners a glimpse into a past of sailing, hide-gathering, what Santa Barbara was like in 1835-1836, who lived here then, who Dana crewed and worked with, and how his voyage and visit to Santa Barbara changed him.”

A Musical Revue,” July 15-18, 2021 for four performances only.
