Live Comedy in Your Living Room is a popular Zoom show where professional comedians perform live (and work clean) from around the country. Many of our regulars live in Santa Barbara and in the Before Times came to our monthly comedy night at Carrillo Rec Center. This Saturday, April 3 marks our one-year anniversary of Live Comedy in Your Living Room.
Spring has sprung at The Collection at RiverPark, with tons of fun seasonal celebrations for the community. Shopping center visitors can now enjoy spring-themed photo opportunities, selfies with the Bunny, a spring scavenger hunt, live music and more.

University of California Master Gardeners of Santa Barbara County announce an online series of gardening classes for true beginners, modeled after the popular World War II Victory Vegetable Gardens. The four classes take attendees through the basics of successful vegetable gardening in our area.

An outspoken critic of pregnancy discrimination in athletics, an advocate for underserved children and a proponent of maternity rights, Felix shares her experiences with racism and discrimination even as a professional athlete. As she gears up for the Tokyo Olympics, Felix remains at the forefront of the fight for equality for all – in sports and in life.
This conversation with Dr. Ingrid Banks, Chair of the UC Santa Barbara Department of Black Studies, will be followed by a Q&A.

Take your leadership from good to great by exploring and applying the top ten skills that every leader must have.
You may elect to take this course independent of a Career Skills Institute digital badge or apply it to the Emerging Leaders Certificate. Participants who earn this certificate will be enabled to develop the additional management, supervisory and leadership skills to open up additional work and advancement opportunities. This certificate is also a gateway into other noncredit and credit programs, helping students develop workplace skills and training that will qualify them for even more work opportunities.
To obtain the Emerging Leaders Certificate, participants must complete a total of four required courses:
