Based on the 1960 novella by Elizabeth Spencer, The Light in the Piazza tells the story of a wealthy Southern woman and her daughter, who falls in love with a young Italian man during a vacation in Italy. Emerging Teen Spring Camp

Inspired by the exhibitions Scenes from a Marriage: Ed & Nancy Kienholz and Out of Joint: Joan Tanner, students create collaborative and individual sculptures and assemblage works from unexpected materials and drawings using oil pastels, chalk, charcoal, and ink.

National Vietnam Veterans Memorial Day

The program will open with the Color Guard by Strategic Space Force Base out of Vandenberg, and will feature a number of local, state and national dignitaries including: Art Kaslow who will emcee, Steve Baird, City of Buellton Mayor Dave King, Third District Supervisor Joan Hartmann, and a representative of Congressman Salud Carbajal. Post Commander Al Salge will honor Vietnam Veterans and their spouses with a special pin presentation.

Obsolescence: The Sculpture of Ed & Nancy Kienholz

A lecture given by James Glisson, Curator of Contemporary Art, held in conjunction with the exhibition “Scenes from a Marriage: Ed & Nancy Kienholz” (Jan. 29 – May 21, 2023)

Master Your Communication Skills w/ Frank Leone

Author and featured speaker Frank Leone leads a 3-Saturday course on how to "Master Your Communication Skills" based on his book, "77 Ways to Perfect Your Communications Skills: Enhancing your Personal and Professional Relationships" in April at Unity of Santa Barbara. The cost is $20 per session or $49 for the whole series. Access to the livestream will be available to registrants. Frank's book are available for purchase in the Wings bookstore. Santa Barbara Chamber Players Orchestra Concert
