Discover how deliciously geology pairs with wine!
Learn about the geology of the Santa Ynez Valley from Dibblee Curator of Earth Science Jonathan Hoffman, Ph.D., on his video journey to the Grassini Family Vineyard in the Happy Canyon AVA. During this rare opportunity to see the private vineyard, Grassini winemaker Bradley Long explains why viticulturists need to know their soils and microclimates to produce consistently great wines from unique and variable land. At home, you’ll uncork the final product and apply what you’ve learned during a live Zoom wine tasting with Grassini CEO Katie Grassini and her husband Grassini National Sales Manager Dean McKillen.
Customize your experience with a range of ticketing options, from a fun night in learning about wine to a private tasting to remember!
Tickets $20–100, sponsorships start at $250
Sponsored by: Town & Country Event Rentals, The Berry Man, Inc., and Grassini Family Vineyards.
