The Lobster Town U.S.A. Gallery at 3823 Santa Claus Lane in Carpinteria is holding their grand opening on December 4.
Undergraduate flutist Madison Kolkow will present a senior Bachelor of Music recital with pianist and UCSB faculty member Dr. Natasha Kislenko on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 4:30 pm in Karl Geiringer Hall on the UC Santa Barbara campus. The program will include works by Phillippe Gaubert, Sigfrid Karg-Elert, Paul Taffanel, and Sergei Prokofiev. Kolkow is a student of UC Santa Barbara Professor Jill Felber.

On Saturday, December 4, CARE4Paws will host our Donation Drive-Thru & Home for the Holidays Adoption Festival at Earl Warren Showgrounds in Santa Barbara and the Elks Lodge in Santa Maria. Please join us for this pawsitive holiday event, aimed to provide resources that keep pets with their families, while inspiring forever homes for animals in need from our local shelters and rescue groups

Attendees will get to have a free guided tour of the Museum with Executive Director Greg Gorga, whose tours are always entertaining.

Aaron Haas and Anastasia Malliaras of Duo Apollon perform art song repertoire for voice and guitar, as well as transcriptions from piano. The repertoire originally written for guitar and voice is more obscure and showcases song cycles that are rarely heard, while the transcriptions reinterpret classic art song with the unique sound of the guitar-voice duo.
The Santa Barbara Maritime Museum (SBMM) Store and watercolorist Lisa Dov will present a Pop Up Show & Sale of Lisa’s work on Sundays, December 5 and December 19, 2021, from 10 am-5 pm on the museum’s patio overlooking the Harbor. Lisa's work celebrates the Museum’s current mermaids exhibit, which runs through March 31, 2022.
