Noah’s Flood (Noyes Fludde)

A co-production of the Santa Barbara Youth Opera and the Santa Barbara Youth Symphony.

Benjamin Britten’s “Noyes Fludde” (Noah’s Flood) – a one act opera with community participation.

The Sean Wiggins duo provides a serious combo of rock, blues & country with strong soulful vocals and serious slide guitar, playing covers and their own award winning tunes. After sharing stages with Montgomery Gentry, Blues Traveler & Cyndi Lauper, and with over 230 shows a year under her belt, Sean uses her experience to bring the audience into her world, making sure a good time is had by all.

Puppetzilla Puppet Slam at the Naked Puppet Theatre – Adults 18+ Only

An adults-only, late-night performance of short puppet acts that range from outrageous to quietly touching. Mature content. Must be 18 years or older to attend. Puppetzilla Puppet Slam is at the Alhecama Theatre on Saturday, March 3 from 6:30pm to 10:00pm. Tickets are $20. More information about the festival is available at PuppetPaloozaSB.com.

Gandhis Gift: A Documentary Film

This new, independently produced film depicts the last four years of Mohandas Gandhi’s life. Historical news footage and interviews with those who worked with him give a vivid and insightful portrait of Gandhi’s values and non-violent strategies. One of the writer/producers, Cynthia Lukas, will introduce the film and answer questions.
