MADE UCSB is the Media Arts and Technology Program’s End of Year Show at the UCSB on June 7th at 5:00 p.m.
MADE UCSB is the Media Arts and Technology Program’s (MAT) End of Year Show at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Showcasing graduate student work that connects media art, design and engineering, MADE UCSB represents the mission of MAT: to enable the creation of hybrid work that informs both scientific and aesthetic discourses.
The exhibition features over 50 installations, performances, concerts, and technical presentations by artists, scientists, and engineers from the MAT community and beyond. A diverse selection of work spans themes such as virtual reality, robotics, quantum physics, machine learning, electronic music and many other transdisciplinary subjects.
The new weekly local radio show, “Solutions News Radio,” hosted by Rinaldo Brutoco, president and founder of the World Business Academy, will air live this Friday from 5-6 p.m. on KZSB 1290 AM radio. There will be replay broadcasts Friday from 11 p.m.– 12 a.m., Saturday from 5- 6 p.m. and again on Sunday from 9 -10 a.m. The show is also available on demand as a podcast on Apple podcasts, SoundCloud or the Solutionsnews.org website.
