Fall Dance Concert

This year’s Fall Dance Concert celebrates our newest faculty members Monique Meunier and Brandon Whited. Ms. Meunier, former principal dancer with New York City Ballet, brings together her eclectic background in classical ballet and contemporary dance in a new work performed by our students. Also on the program are dances by Valerie Huston and Nancy Colahan alongside student BFA choreographer Kelly O’Connor. Mr. Whited, formerly a dancer with the internationally renowned dance company Shen Wei Dance Arts will re-stage one of Shen Wei’s iconic works, RE-III, to close the concert.

Flying Goat Cellars Hosts Artist Reception for Katie Marie Artistry

Flying Goat is hosting an artist reception for Katie Marie Artistry on Saturday, December 8, from 2-4pm. Katie’s exquisite paintings make a great holiday gift and have been selling off the walls. You may recognize Katie at the reception because she has been a part-time Flying Goat tasting room associate for the past few years.

John Wullbrandt Art Show at Palm Loft Gallery

Palm Loft Gallery presents “So Grateful,” a one-man art show featuring the paintings of renowned artist John Wullbrandt. The show will open on Saturday, Dec. 8 and run through Jan. 27.

Light Up A Life 2018 – Carpinteria

Hospice of Santa Barbara (HSB) invites the community to celebrate and honor the lives of loved ones at its 35th annual Light Up A Life ceremonies.

Light Up a Life ceremonies are free to attend and feature special guests and speakers, music, and a memorial tree lighting, including hundreds of sparkling tribute stars hung to commemorate those who are no longer with us.

Stars are available online and will also be available at each ceremony for a suggested donation of $15 or more for those wishing to personalize a star to hang on the tree. Hospice of Santa Barbara will record the names being honored and remembered into the Book of Life, which will be available in perpetuity online. All proceeds will benefit Hospice of Santa Barbara programs.
