The Santa Barbara Chamber Players is a group of local musicians who perform high caliber, accessible and affordable concerts for the local community, under the baton of Emmanuel Fratianni. Our inaugural orchestral concert will be on January 28, 2023 at 7:30 at First United Methodist Church and will feature Dvorak's Symphony No. 7, Copland's Appalachian Spring and Ravel's Mother Goose Suite. The Cheryl Diamond SB 5K Cancer Schlep brings together hundreds of participants of all ages from Santa Barbara and Southern California, bound together in solidarity to raise the hopes of those battling breast, ovarian, and prostate cancer.
Hundreds attend this free event every year sharing seeds and knowledge with other backyard gardeners, plant lovers, beekeepers, farmers and more. Come be a part of this seed saving movement, making sure locally adapted seeds & plants are passed on to future generations. Free seeds offered to help gardeners get started. Local groups will have seed & plant related exhibits. Live music, and kids activities throughout the day.
