On October 3, Christopher Hawthorne, City of Los Angeles Chief Design Officer in the Mayor’s Office will present a new segment of the Kitchell Architecture and Design Lecture Series.

The Citizens Planning Association will host a series of panel discussions on local land use planning and the expected impacts of climate change. Our first of several events will focus on the Goleta area and will be held on Thursday, October 3rd, at the Goleta Library Multipurpose Room. Participants include representatives from County Long Range Planning, City of Goleta Planning Department, and Rachel Couch, Conservancy Project Development Specialist of the Coastal Conservancy Central Coast Program.

Following their presentations, there will be a question/answer session. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the panel will begin at 7:00 pm.
