Youth Mental Health First Aid is a comprehensive training specifically designed to equip educators, family members, and caregivers with the skills and knowledge to identify, understand, and respond to the signs or risk factors of mental illness and substance use disorders in youth.
Just as CPR helps you assist an individual having a heart attack, Mental Health First Aid helps you assist someone experiencing a mental health or substance use-related crisis.
Join Patrick Melroy as he leads a workshop in "Chris Kallmyer: Ensemble." Visitors are invited to learn more about the exhibition and participate in hands-on music-making activities. All ages are welcome
"Ensemble" is a multi-media installation by artist Chris Kallmyer. Central to the exhibition is a specially fabricated, communal bell-ringing instrument that serves as a resource for communal activities.
Patrick Melroy currently maintains a studio practice in the city of Santa Barbara California. Melroy’s practice exists most often as interactive objects and experiences designed to engage an audience. His work has appeared in shows from Belgrade Serbia to Los Angeles. He was a founding member of the influential Uppur Bunk Collaborative and a charter member of Bottled Lightning Projects.
