Versus: Jewish Poets at the Margins

On the 3rd Thursday of every month, starting November 16, we will be meeting at the Jewish Federation of Greater Santa Barbara on 524 Chapala Street to read & discuss a select Jewish poet’s work, followed by an “open mike” for participants to read favorites or share their own poems. We will be addressing the works of Yehuda Amichai, Alicia Ostriker, Alvin Fine, Leonard Cohen, Gertrude Stein, Phillip Levine, Allen Ginsberg, Bob Dylan, and Adrienne Rich among others.
