Undergraduate Student Recital: Olivia Nava, Low Brass

Undergraduate low brass student Olivia Nava will present a virtual senior Bachelor of Music recital, titled “Among Flowers,” with pianist Dr. Natasha Kislenko (UC Santa Barbara faculty member) on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 6 pm PDT as a YouTube Premiere via the Department of Music’s YouTube channel. The program will include excerpts from David W. Brubeck’s Stereograms, Alexander Lebedev’s Concerto in One Movement for Tuba and Piano, Halsey Stevens’ Sonatina for Tuba and Piano, and Thom Ritter Georg’s Concerto for Bass Trombone and Orchestra. Nava is a student of UC Santa Barbara Recall Continuing Lecturer William Booth.
