Tonight, Thursday, February 16, 2023, at 7pm, volunteer opportunities with the Santa Barbara chapter of the Surfrider Foundation will be discussed at the chapter’s general meeting and mixer, located at the Watershed Resource Center at Hendry’s Beach.
Volunteer positions are available in coastal advocacy, beach clean-ups, the Ocean Friendly Restaurants program, beach access, educational outreach, events, fundraising, the Ocean Friendly Gardens program, and the Rise Above Plastics program.
Pizza, beer and light refreshments will be served.
The Surfrider Foundation is a national, international and local non-profit environmental organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world’s waves, oceans and beaches for all people, through conservation, activism, research and education.
