THRILLER! Zombies Dancing for Charity

Halloween is coming! Time to release your inner zombie! For the 10th year in a row, local nonprofit World Dance for Humanity is hosting Santa Barbara’s annual Thriller event, which is part of the global dance phenomenon — Thrill the World.
The dancing starts the week before Halloween with flashmobs all around town, and culminates in the big Thrill the World Event: Saturday, Oct. 29 at the SB Courthouse Sunken Gardens which includes a Costume Dance Party at 1pm, followed by the Thriller performance at 2pm.
The event is free and open to all ages.
The funds raised — from event sponsors and participants — benefit the organization’s Rwanda Education Fund, supporting 287 Rwandan high school and college students; and Santa Barbara’s Westside Boys & Girls Club where World Dancers provide after-school tutoring.
Businesses, individuals & community groups are invited to become Event Sponsors and enjoy months of community-wide visibility.
