This week “Solutions News Radio” will welcome U.S. Rep. Katie Porter

The new weekly local radio show, “Solutions News Radio,” hosted by Rinaldo Brutoco, president and founder of the World Business Academy, will air live this Friday from 5-6 p.m. on KZSB 1290AM radio. There will be replay broadcasts Friday from 11 p.m.– 12 a.m., Saturday from 5-6 p.m., and again on Sunday from 9-10 a.m. The show is also available on demand as a podcast on Apple podcasts, SoundCloud, or Solutionsnews.org.
On this week’s episode of Solutions News we will be hearing from U.S. Rep. Katie Porter, an influential Democrat representing California’s 45th Congressional district in Orange County. In Congress, Porter – who beat a Republican incumbent in 2018 to win her seat – continues her lifelong fight to reduce the influence of dark money in politics. She supports working families, particularly when it comes to tax loopholes that benefit the wealthy.
A graduate of Yale and of Harvard Law School and a former law professor at UC Irvine, Porter currently has six GOP opponents and a recent GOP poll shows her in a dead heat with a Republican challenger.
