The new weekly local radio show, “Solutions News Radio,” hosted by Rinaldo Brutoco, president and founder of the World Business Academy, will air live this Friday from 5-6 p.m. on KZSB 1290AM radio. There will be replay broadcasts Friday from 11 p.m.– 12 a.m., Saturday from 5-6 p.m., and again on Sunday from 9-10 a.m. The show is also available on demand as a podcast on Apple podcasts, SoundCloud, or Solutionsnews.org.
This week’s guest is Rick Wayman, Deputy Director of the Santa Barbara-based Nuclear Age Peace Foundation. He will be taking over as CEO of the Foundation in January 2020. Wayman graduated from Marquette University’s College with a degree in Business Administration and he has a Master’s Degree in Non- Profit Management and Political Advocacy from the School for International Training.
Wayman played a leading role in advancing the lawsuits filed by the Republic of the Marshall Islands against all nine nuclear- armed nations at the International Court of Justice and against the United States in U.S. Federal Court. He also participated in the negotiations at the United Nations in 2017 that led to the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons and a Nobel Peace Prize for ICAN.
