On this episode of Solutions News we interview Kathy Odell from Women’s Economic Ventures. We are excited to introduce Odell in place of our original guest, Marsha Bailey, current CEO of WEV, who had to drop out due to a last-minute conflict.
In addition to being WEV’s CEO-elect beginning January 1, 2020, Odell can be described as a “serial entrepreneur.” She founded her first company, Medical Concepts, Inc., in 1985 which was later acquired by Karl Stoz Endoscopy. She was also the founding CEO of Inogen, Inc. and has worked with companies such as Agility Communications, NutraHealth Partners, Annovium Products, and Pacific Capital Bancorp. Odell has been committed to supporting women entrepreneurs throughout her career and joined the Women’s Economic Ventures board in 2010.
