The new weekly local radio show, “Solutions News Radio,” hosted by Rinaldo Brutoco, president and founder of the World Business Academy, will air live this Friday from 5-6 p.m. on KZSB 1290AM radio. There will be replay broadcasts Friday from 11 p.m.– 12 a.m., Saturday from 5-6 p.m., and again on Sunday from 9-10 a.m. The show is also available on demand as a podcast on Apple podcasts, SoundCloud, or Solutionsnews.org.
This week’s guest is Joe White, a professor of philosophy at Santa Barbara City College, whose social experiment aimed at making 2020 “A Year Without War” earned him a United Nations Association Peace Prize. White was announced as winner of the United Nations Association of Santa Barbara and Tri-Counties’ 2019 Peace Prize during the UNA’s packed third annual awards event, held Sept. 26 at the University Club in downtown Santa Barbara. He was selected from among seven nominees.
White serves as executive director of 2020 AYWW. The innovative project, which White also founded, uses new and advanced technology to build and give voice to our global community to just say no to war for a full year.
