For part 2 of this speaker series, horticulture professionals have been invited to explore and discuss practical, sustainable solutions for attendees to bring home to their own backyards—big or small. The importance of healthy soil cannot be ignored. Since adopting an entirely organic, sustainable horticulture model in 1997, Lotusland continues to inspire others to follow their lead. By providing valuable resources and education on how everyone can be environmental stewards, Lotusland hopes their successes can be replicated by others, from novice patio gardeners to large-scale orchards and growing spaces.
The benefits of sustainable horticulture are clear: they promote ecological balance and lead to a cleaner, greener planet.
