Surf ‘n’ Suds Beer Festival goes Virtual!

Surf ‘n’ Suds Beer Festivals would have been celebrating their eighth anniversary this year, but
2020 had different plans.

Surf ‘n’ Suds Beer Festival is the largest craft beer festival on the Central Coast with over 70
craft breweries, ciders, wineries and kombucha companies joining them at the beach at San
Buenaventura State Beach in Ventura and Carpinteria State Beach.

Started eight years ago in Carpinteria and selling out every year, thousands of craft beer lovers
have flocked to the small seaside city of Carpinteria every August to enjoy Surf ‘n’ Suds.
The Carpinteria State Park sells out every year for this event, with visitors coming from all over
California and out of state.

With 2020 putting a halt on events, Surf ‘n’ Suds decided to take their show online and
introduced their Surf ‘n’ Suds @Home Fests!

These virtual beer festivals began in May of 2020 and have sold out every month. They feature
14 craft breweries and ciders each month from all over California. To date they have featured
52 craft breweries and ciders and shipped out their variety beer boxes all over California.
Starting in October they will also ship out to Arizona, Nevada, Oregon and Washington.

“We wanted to keep Surf ‘n’ Suds going and thought the best way to do that with all of the
Covid-19 restrictions was to ship an entire beer festival right to people’s front doors,” said Surf
‘n’ Suds event organizer Andres Nuño. “The beer boxes include 1 beer from each brewery (or
cider), a souvenir glass, and brewery and sponsor swag.”

The 3.5 hour show is hosted by Andres Nuño, and guests are able to watch each brewery walk
you through the tasting and their brewery. The @Home Fests also include music during the
event, featuring 2 bands and a DJ every event.

Tickets are just $75 for General Admission and include 14 carefully selected beers from each of
the breweries that are featured that month, a souvenir glass and brewery and sponsor swag.
A VIP tickets was just announced, and it includes a special Surf ‘n’ Suds gaiter and T-shirt and
the cost is $85 for the VIP. This is a limited ticket and only 50 are left.

Each of the monthly Surf ‘n’ Suds @Home Fests have sold out, and they are currently selling
tickets for their Saturday, October 24 th event that features 14 California craft breweries and
ciders that include:

The event also includes a Zoom After Party where guests can ask the breweries questions about their beer.
