BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND: DOG ADOPTIONS ON THE STATE STREET PROMENADE!
Due to the popularity and high attendance of dogs and people at the first dog adoption event on the State Street Promenade, adoptable dogs will be making a second appearance at the First State Street Spring Fling Dog Palooza. Several local animal rescue groups will have adoptable dogs and puppies on hand from 1-3pm on Saturday, March 24 in the 800 block of State St., ready to meet potential adopters and spread some doggy love to those in need!
Our adoption events focus primarily on adoptable dogs living in foster homes – and thus not easily met at local animal shelters. Events on the Promenade also offer a fun, low stress place to party with a potential new canine family member, and maybe grab a cup of coffee or do some retail therapy before or after.
A range of dogs, young and old, large and small, will be on hand. Participating organizations include the Aussie Rescue Networking Group; Cold Noses, Warm Hearts; Le Woof Rescue; and Santa Barbara County Animal Services.
For more information, email Lee Heller at k9krma@gmail.com or join us on Saturday March 24, from 1-3 p.m., to find your true canine love!
Sunday, March 24th from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Location: 800 block of State Street in downtown Santa Barbara
