Join us for a community experience at the Santa Barbara Museum of Art where select art from the SBMA collection inspires our senses with music, beautiful design, and delicious taste.
Midwinter Night’s Dream is a symbol of contemplative beauty and the promise of new beginnings, and the season of winter captures the very essence of the theme—discovery, reflection, wonder, and renewal, making for an immersive and transformative experience.
Guests to the Midwinter Night’s Dream will experience how four pieces of art selected from the SBMA collection can inspire design, exquisite menu tastings, music, and more. The evening promises an experiential journey through elevated hors d’oeuvres and imaginative cocktails.
Live music by Music Academy alum and contemporary Bach piano virtuoso Evan Shinners creates the perfect backdrop for this event that offers a celebration of art, culture, and community.
Proceeds from Artful Affairs enables us to preserve and share our incredible collection, host educational programs, and continue our community outreach efforts.
