SANTA BARBARA LAWN BOWLS CLUB ANNUAL OPEN HOUSE

Members of the Santa Barbara Lawn Bowls Club are busy sprucing up their club and grounds in preparation for the SBLBC Open House, and they welcome the community to attend their Annual Open House Saturday, May 5, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Members of the club will give tours, and provide lessons to interested guests in attendance.
The Santa Barbara Lawn Bowls Club was formed in 1937 and celebrated it’s 80th anniversary in October of 2017 at Spencer Adams Park. Both Santa Barbara County Supervisor Das Williams and City of Santa Barbara Mayor Helene Schneider presented proclamations to the club for their outstanding contribution to recreation in the downtown area; SBLBC is sponsored by the Parks and Recreation Department of the City of Santa Barbara.
Club members have regular play during the week, weekend and on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Business people and downtown residents are invited to contact the club for lessons.
