Chef Katie Teall of The Cookery Catering, in partnership with the Foodbank of Santa Barbara County, hosts Rising from the Ashes: A Feast to Benefit the Foodbank at spectacular Rancho Santa Barbara on March 11, 2018.
The Foodbank has taken a leadership role in the response and recovery efforts for the Thomas Fire and Montecito Mudslide.
The Foodbank distributed hundreds of thousands of pounds of healthy food and fresh produce to nearly 10,000 people affected by the recent disasters.
Given the latest crises related to the mudslide, the Foodbank arranged special food distributions and provided fresh fruits and vegetables, nutritious snacks, and healthy groceries to evacuees, first responders, students, and those facing economic dislocation from flood-related loss of work and income.
Rising from the Ashes: A Feast to Benefit the Foodbank guests will enjoy a lunch catered by Katie Teall and The Cookery Catering, music, open bar, and a live and silent auction announced by emcee and senior reporter John Palminteri KEYT KCOY KKFX.
Thank you to our Rising from the Ashes Partners!
