The Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse announces that finalist from “The Voice 2018” Pryor Baird and his band, all direct from Nashville, will headline the 2019 Amethyst Ball. The event will be held April 13th, marks the 33nd annual Amethyst Ball and comes as CADA is celebrating 70 years of service in Santa Barbara. The evening will also feature a special guest performance by Natalie Noone. The CADA Champion Award will be presented to international businessman and philanthropist, Peter Hilf.
The Amethyst Ball raises funds for CADA’s many substance abuse prevention and intervention services. The Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse was established in 1949 by a small group of Santa Barbara citizens and has grown into the largest organization in the county for the prevention and treatment of alcohol and drug abuse, serving over 18,000 youth and adults over its many years.
The Amethyst Ball is CADA’s premier fundraising event. By attending and supporting the 2019 Amethyst Ball, you are helping to change the lives of your neighbors struggling with addiction and furthering CADA’s mission of building a safer and healthier community.
