Photographer Lucia Kiel is Empowering Women, donating portion of proceeds to STESA

Internationally acclaimed and award winning local photographer Lucia Kiel is unveiling a unique and very exciting life-changing experience! The “Becoming” launch party will be held on May 15th, where she will present the community with her newest venture! The Becoming Experience is your opportunity to partake in a unique and powerful mind, body and spirit awakening. The experience begins with 2 weeks of inner work, guided by a thoughtful and enriching workbook. There you get a chance to release old labels and beliefs and focus on reconnecting to your authentic self and who you are becoming. The inner work is followed by a styling and planning consultation where you have hundreds of gowns and looks to select from, and a chance to visualize your future self. Ultimately, when you arrive at the studio for your Becoming Photoshoot, you will start in a beautifully crafted tent where you will listen to a unique sound-scape that was created especially for these sessions. From there you’ll move onto glam for your first look! The layers are peeled back and the old you is left behind – allowing you to step fully into the woman you are becoming.

Throughout Lucia’s career she has put an emphasis on empowering women and helping them find their strength and power in spite of their personal struggles. Lucia is also an advocate for the importance of mental health awareness. She has worked closely with the local crisis center STESA (Standing Together To End Sexual Assult), and knows first hand how valuable and important positive mental health care is. In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month and her desire to support all humans, Lucia is donating 10% of the proceeds from all “Becoming” shoots that are booked in the month of May to STESA.
